Day by Day
This first day will give participants time to adapt to the altitude and begin to prepare physically for the following day’s hiking. We will pick you up from your hotel at 8 am. for the trip to the Condor View Point at Chonta. Along the way, we stop and explore the archeological site of Killarumiyoq, unique because of the sculpted rock with the shape of the moon, consider a sacred place in the Inca times and still used to do some offering in honor of mother earth.
Then we continue driving further, you will enjoy the landscape of the Limatambo valley, and spot the small farming communities nestled among the valley. On reaching Chonta, we will walk for approximately an hour along a narrow track with spectacular views of the Apurimac Canyon. We are almost certain to have the site completely to ourselves, as most tourists tend to visit in the area later in the afternoon. At the viewing point, there will be time to relax and observe the condors soaring over the canyon, is here where we’ll have time to enjoy our delicious box lunch. After lunch, we will return to our vehicle and continue to our final destination, the Soraypampa Camp Site
Upon arrival at the campsite, you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink prepared with locally sourced fruits.

Sustainable Travel
Low-impact Tours
On this program we strive to preserve and protect delicate routes and natural habitats in order to not enhance mass-tourism in remote areas and minimise the effects of our presence in such areas. We therefore choose routes for the program that are specific for Tourism and trekking and avoid exploring remote places.
Cultural Awareness
It generally works best when there is smaller scale, slower growth, and greater involvement by our local communities in all steps of the tourism development process. We work mainly with small business and communities ensuring that most of the profit benefits actual people, and not just big organizations.
