Depending of the place where you stay, we pick you up from the Sacred Valley or from Cusco to transfer you to Ollantaytambo where the train will take us to the km. 104 where the walk begins. Then we visited the archaeological complex of Chachabamba 2171 m / 7122 ft Here had obtained for agricultural products to be brought to Machupicchu. We continue the hike to Wiñaywayna where we will arrive approximately two hours and a half later. On the way we’ll have beautiful views of the Urubamba River and have the opportunity to appreciate different types of orchids semi tropical forest. 

In Wiñaywayna we stop to visit this important archaeological center. After lunch we continue hiking to Machu Picchu, As soon we get on the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) 2745 m/9005 ft. we’ll have the view of Machupicchu, only allowed for the ones that booked the Inka trail, unique view and great experience. 

Before to leave from the inca city we have the chance to have the first classical view of MAchupicchu 2430 m / 7972 ft, the one that any hiker deserve after to finish the inca trail

Then we continue by bus to Aguas Calientes 2040 m / 6692ft, where we’ll stay for the night.

After a delicious breakfast we are ready to take the bus to Machupicchu, 30 minutes later we get to the check point of MAchupicchu where you’ll need to show your passports, the tour inside the Inca city will last around three hours, be ready to listen and to ask to your guide, another great experience in this sacred place. If you have the extra option to get on the Wayna Picchu Mountain your guide will escort you to the entrance of this special place which take approximately 2 hours round trip.

Now you are ready to comeback, taking the bus down to aguas Calientes town, here a delicious lunch awards for you, then you take the train to Ollantaytambo where your transportation will transfer you to your hotel.
