I had the privilege of having Claudio Maqque Valdez as my tour guide and Inkati Peru as our travel agency when we visited Peru. As soon as we arrived, he made us feel like family. His passion for his home country is beyond contagious and led me to want to learn more about the culture, history, and land. He welcomed us to his culture and taught us all there is to love about his beautiful country. Claudio was fun, patient, and tailored to everyone’s specific needs during our hike. He was always caught with a smile and very quickly became a close friend to our family. He is the reason why I want to return to Peru, and when I do, he will be the first person I call. I met Claudio as my guide 9 years ago. I have recommended him and Inkati Peru to a number of friends who all agreed with me that not only is he knowledgeable about the Peruvian Andes and the history, though he is also a lot of fun.
